Background
OXFAM fights inequality to end poverty and injustice
Oxfam Belgium has entrusted us with the creation of its new end-of-year fundraising campaign.
Throughout the world, Oxfam supports international cooperation projects, in particular with women’s groups, which aim to develop sustainable access to water, decent hygiene and resilient agriculture.
Challenge
Give a gift that counts this Christmas
Even today, one in three people in the world has no access to drinking water, more than 2 billion people live in precarious sanitary conditions and almost 800 million people are affected by hunger.
At a time when the festive season is associated with a frenzy of shopping and consumption, we have devised an awareness-raising and fundraising campaign to encourage Belgians to allocate part of their gift budget to what really matters, by contributing to projects that will have a positive impact on thousands of people around the world.
We carried out initial tests as part of the call for tenders:
Four key visuals associated with Oxfam Belgium’s main themes were then designed for this campaign. On each of them, a hero object is presented and packaged as a gift to show that some objects that may seem banal to some are, for others, priceless gifts that allow them access to dignity, freedom and independence.
Solution
The campaign was rolled out across Belgium on social networks, on public posters and in the press.
« We really enjoyed working with the MOJO team to come up with a campaign concept for our end-of-year fundraising campaign. Involved from the outset, they understood Oxfam’s values and were able to illustrate them creatively. It was a great collaboration! »
